The sharpener (or sharpening unit) is the mechanical device fitted to the slicer to restore the blade edge and remove the metal burr with two abrasive wheels, ensuring clean, precise cutting without unnecessary effort.

• Dual action: it includes one sharpening wheel and one deburring wheel for the blade edge.
• Long service life: it extends blade life through controlled material removal.
