GICAR flow meter code 9.0.25.20G

Flow meter with a sight glass for professional coffee machines.

On the part: Body in die-cast light alloy with two in-line female ports on one side and two cross-head screw plugs; on top, the head with a round sight glass, and under the glass the green impeller and an orange LED. A metal bracket with two spade terminals comes out of the head, plus a black lead running round to a terminal on the body. No readable marking on the part.

Before ordering, check:

• ⚠️ The two GICAR codes are two variants of the same family: compare the code of the fitted meter before ordering.
• The position of the two ports, in line on the same side, and the sight glass, which meters with a blind cover do not have.
• The meter works in the horizontal position, takes 20 bar, runs on 4,5÷24 V DC and draws 15 mA.
• ⚠️ The version with the LED, which is this one, is rated to 70 °C, while the one without the LED goes to 100 °C: if the water there is hotter than 70 °C the no-LED model is needed.
• GICAR gives this family an envelope of 40 x 55 x 40 mm and female threads G 1/8 or G 1/4.
• ⚠️ Measure the port thread on the fitted part.
